  1. Agentic Future of Security Reviews

SafeBase had introduced Customer Trust Portal publishing tools, but as the market matured, and more automation was expected, a new approach was needed.

Led solo discovery and design for an agentic review layer, defining the roles of MCP, CLI, and UI with lead engineers and managers.

Impact: Validated a new paradigm that internal reviewers loved, estimating it could save 1–2 hours per review.

  2. AI Knowledge Base Issue Detection

AI answer quality was degrading. Customers' knowledge bases were filling with invalid, duplicate and conflicting answers, but they didn't have the bandwidth to clean it all up manually.

As lead designer and acting PM, I led the establishment of a new cleanup feature from discovery to ship.

Impact: Widely adopted, with unsolicited customer praise: “Nobody has this.”

  3. AI Search Overhaul

SafeBase Trust Center search feature had always relied on simple keyword search that customers and reviewers continued to struggle with.

Led discovery and collaborated with engineers to ship a more sophisticated semantic search, with the ability to ask questions and a novel way to browse search results and answer sources.

Impact: Enthusiastic user feedback; elevating Document results was especially appreciated.

  4. Localization for Document Publishing

OpenAI, a key customer, needed to publish Trust Center documents in multiple languages.

Took design visions that I had developed proactively and extended them to support translation management per language, in collaboration with engineers and PMs.

Impact: Launched new document infrastructure that made OpenAI happy and introduced additional enhancements.

  5. AI Content Generation

Trust Centers had always been filled out manually; the company wanted to demo auto-generated content at a conference.

Rapidly produced designs and a wired prototype reviewed with PM, CEO, and CMO, pulling in and enhancing new brand assets to make it convincing. Delivered a week early.

Impact: Demos were celebrated; the team committed to building before any further testing or research.

  6. Multi-Org, Multi-Product Infrastructure

The product was built around a single Trust Center with a flat product list, but Enterprise customers had more complex organizational needs.

Synthesized discovery research, produced vision wireframes, led cross-department discussions, and collaborated with backend engineers to lay the right foundation.

Impact: A new content infrastructure was developed that enabled improved content management and more advanced admin tooling.

  7. Multi-Branded Trust Centers

Enterprise customers needed a single Trust Center to cover multiple subsidiaries or product brands, but only one brand style was supported.

Proposed a system for creating pages and themes, mapping them to products, and overhauled the Settings experience to support it.

Impact: Reviewed with engineering managers and PMs and got it prioritized. Still being built.

  8. Multi-Product Trust Center Filtering

Customers were frustrated by having a separate page per product when many products shared content, and reviewers often needed to review more than one at a time.

Led the cross-functional team through concept testing and final implementation of a new way to support reviewing multiple products at once.

Impact: Several customers rejoiced and turned it on immediately. Fresh infrastructure accelerated iteration.

  2. Global Search & AI Answers Design

Global search was a core but frustrating part of the product.

Managed designer leading the AI redesign of global search and AI answers. Guided the research, strategy, and UI for it. Made UI suggestions that made it 3× faster to scan in timed tests.

Impact: Cleared ~95% of search pain points; new UI won 3× in timed tests.

  3. Design Competency Framework

Head of Design needed a framework for building and managing a world-class design team.

Worked with two other Design leaders to lay the foundation, then took responsibility for fleshing out all the competencies. Developed a scoring mechanism mapped to roles and built an advanced evaluation tool using Figma.

Impact: Set clear performance expectations across all design roles and streamlined performance reviews.

  4. Competitive Marketing Assets

Marketing wanted to publicly celebrate some major milestones that highlighted our competitive advantage, but had limited bandwidth. They asked me if the Product Design team could help.

Mocked up low fidelity marketing concepts, brought in other designers to iterate and polish, and guided to completion.

Impact: Marketing campaign unblocked, assets were effective at driving sales leads.

Impact: Cooked some amazing meals and found a new passion for cooking. Work in progress.

  3. Model-Agnostic API for Abstracted LLM Features

I was early to the LLM party and excited for developers to be able to utilize the power without having to keep up with models or prompts.

Designed, built, and shipped v1 solo, with marketing website and subscription billing through Stripe.

Impact: Discovered I could launch an API product solo. Noticed LLM model awareness was becoming mainstream.

  4. Dynamic AI-Powered Decision Assistant

An AI tool that generates UI based on first input, then makes a recommendation.

Built the full experience and prompting flow in Plasmic.

Impact: Weeks of organic retention; “surprisingly specific and accurate.” Ad revenue couldn't justify the costs.

  5. BamSEC News — Multi-Agent

A multi-agent newsroom built on OpenAI processing SEC Filings.

Designed entire mobile news experience and created agents to act as journalist, editor, and photo-editor agents to put real data in the mocks.

Impact: High-quality articles proved a skeleton-crew newsroom was feasible.

  6. Apple Vision Pro Spatial Game

A first-of-its-kind multiplayer spatial game for Apple Vision Pro.

Developed 3D assets, AR UI, and spatial multiplayer gameplay. Orchestrated marketing; creating promotional website, images, videos, and App Store listing.

  2. Investment Contract Made Easy

Private fund subscriptions required advisors and their clients to complete a 40+ page legal document full of conditional regulatory language, with no prior experience.

Rearchitected the contract from scratch — cutting it apart and regrouping every question by user logic — then collaborated with the team to design and ship a streamlined workflow.

Impact: Enabled the company's first live transactions; expert partners called it the best version of the document they had ever seen.

  3. Portfolio Planning Conversion UI

A top-of-funnel tool explaining private fund categories to advisors.

Devised a conversion funnel that taught advisors key concepts as they went through it. Then worked with two other designers to polish and refine with new branding.

Impact: Advisors grasped it instantly, asked for more examples, and pushed us to build the full conversion funnel.

  4. Design Approach Training

The team needed a shared design approach.

Built and ran training on how we approach design.

Impact: Aligned founders, managers, and cross-functional working team on how to collaborate with design.

Worked with several different Designers, PMs, and Engineers to ship Saved Filters, Alerts Inbox, Inventory Search, and more.

    Impact: Drove multi-million-dollar renewals.

  3. Founding a Customer Research Practice

Customers buying the product were very far away from the users who needed to engage, but there were no direct user feedback channels.

The Head of Design asked me to put together a proposal and framework for how the company would approach User Research. I created slides showing the types of user research we would do when, and a plan for implementing unmoderated remote research.

Impact: Framework was adopted, and I was able to bring other designers along on the new research process.

Accounting tools built from accounting-first lens struggled to gain traction due to a mismatch in users' processes and mental models.

Led deep discovery and ran interviews with users to uncover how they thought about their money and how they were able to approach their accounting tasks. I synthesized the results and evangelized through slide presentations.

Impact: The framework informed several new tools and projects that ended up shipping to customer acclaim.
